ScanToPDF > Plugins > Automatic File Import

The standard version of ScanToPDF allows you to import image files (jpegs, giffs, bmps, pngs, tiffs, etc.) from a source folder and use them as if they were scanned images.


The Automatic File Import plugin allows you to add the additional functionality of being able to watch or poll a source folder for files, delete the source image/file and/or copy the processed image/file to a back up folder.

This plugin is used in situations where the image capture (i.e. scanning) is being performed on a network scanner and the images are being written to a 'source folder'. ScanToPDF can then be configured to poll the source folder and convert any new files into PDFs.
