ScanToPDF > Plugins > Image Import

The standard version of ScanToPDF allows you to import image files (jpegs, giffs, bmps, pngs, tiffs, ect.) from a source folder and use them as if they were scanned images.

The Image Import plugin allows you to add the additional functionality of being able to delete the source image and/or copy the processed image file to a back up folder.

This plugin is used in situations where the image capture (i.e. scanning) is being performed on a network scanner and the images are being written to a 'source folder'. ScanToPDF can then be scheduled to poll the source folder and convert any new image files into PDFs.

The image import settings are configured using the

ScanToPDF > Edit > Preferences > Plugins > FileImportPlugin.dll > Options window

ScanToPDF > Edit > Preferences > Plugins > General options.
