ScanToPDF > Plugins > OCR Searchable PDFs Demo

The OCR plug-in turns ScanToPDF into a powerful scan & search document management system, allowing you to file documents onto your PC and then search for them using a full text search engine such as Google Desktop or Windows Explorer. This demonstration system requires you to install the demo version of ScanToPDF first. The short video below shows how easy it is to configure and use. Please note this demonstration will overwrite any existing version of ScanToPDF in the folder c:\Program Files\O Imaging Corporation\ScanToPDF so backup files if you need to save them. Click "Yes" when asked to overwrite existing files. Start ScanToPDF and acquire an image from a folder or scanner and click save. Then search it in Adobe Reader or using the "containing text" search option in Windows Explorer or another search engine such as Google Desktop.
