ScanToEBS is a simple, low cost and easily deployed method of automatically attaching supplier invoices to Oracle® EBS accounts payable transactions.

How does it work
  • Supplier invoices are posted to the bought ledger and the unique, eBS generated voucher number is recorded (stamped/handwritten) onto the physical invoice.
  • The invoices are then scanned and the user is presented with an image of the invoice, with the voucher number clearly visible, and an indexing window. The user enters the voucher number.
  • ScanToEBS then interrogates the bought ledger and populates the other indexing boxes (supplier number, invoice number, amount, date, etc.) which allows the operator to confirm that the entered voucher number is indeed correct.
  • On accepting the presented indexing information, the scanned invoice is converted into a PDF which is automatically attached (either as a url or blob) to the correct transaction.
